ISRO post a tweet today PSLV C1 carrying Brazil’s Amazonia-1 and 18 co-passenger satellites
PSLV C1 lifts off successfully from Satish Dhawan Space Sation Centre, Sriharikota says Indian Space Research Organization today 28th February 2021 through official twitter handle. Also ISRO share a video i.e Launch of Amazonia-1will be the “first Brazilian satellite” to be launched from India and 18 (secondary payloads like SDSat and three UnitySats (JITsat, GHRCEsat, Sri Shakthi Sat etc) co-passenger satellites onboard PSLV C1.
After PSLV C1 launching event completed successfully Minister of Social Welfare, Government of Karnata posted tweet and said his wishes to ISRO India’s pride in achieving another milestone in space @isro Congratulations to Brazilian has launched 19 satellites together with Amazonia. In particular, the S’D Sat satellite is the Prime Minister Narendra Modi It is a matter of pride that the portrait of the Bhagavad-Gita was carried.
What is Amazonia-1
Amazonia-1 is the optical earth observation satellite of National Institute for space research (INPE), Brazil. This is the first Satellite which is completely designed integrated, tested, and operated by INPE.
Amazonia-1 mission would further strengthen the existing structure by providing remote sensing date to users for monitoring deforestation in the amazon region and analysis of diversified agriculture across the Brazilian territory
